A great baroque nocturnal adventure

“Before me, no one would have dared dress in black,” Gabrielle Chanel once said. Black, an iconic color of Chanel, is the inspiration behind the luxury brand’s new fragance for women: COCO NOIR. Created by Jacques Polge, Chanel’s master perfumer, the new fragance returns to the Oriental scent that has been a trademark for the house . Mysterious, elegant and lush, Chanel’s latest fragance combines top notes of grapefruit and bergamot, floral elements of Rose and Jasmine, and Indonesian Patchouli and Sandalwood notes  that add seductive warmth to the velvety scent. Polge explains  his creative process : “The night vision of the Orient that starts and ends in Venice imposed itself upon me, and that is where I wanted to go.” Gabrielle Chanel had a propensity for the city of luminous canals and opulent palaces and fully embraced the dazzle of black and Venice, both of them incorporated taday in COCO NOIR, a great baroque noctural adventure.

Negro, el color icónico de Chanel, es la inspiración de la marca de lujo para su nueva fragancia: COCO NOIR. Creada por Jacques Polge, maestro perfumero de Chanel, la nueva fragancia retorna al aroma Oriental que ha sido marca registrada de la casa de moda. Misteriosa, elegante y exuberante, la última fragancia de Chanel combina notas de uva y bergamota, elementos florales de rosa y jazmín, y notas base de patchouli de Indonesia y sándalo que le dan un toque de calidez seductora a la esencia aterciopelada. Polge explica su proceso creativo: “La visión nocturna de Oriente que empieza y termina en Venecia se impuso a sí misma ante mí, y allí era adónde quería ir.” Gabrielle Chanel tenía una propensión por la ciudad de los canales luminosos y los palacios opulentos y abrazaba totalmente el resplandor del negro y Venecia, ambos incorporados hoy en COCO NOIR, una  grandiosa aventura barroca nocturna.
